Florida Software Inc. is pleased to announce that we are becoming Florida Software Inc., a division of Trustfile. Trustfile will be the new name for enhanced, next-generation products and services from a company that you know and trust.

Trustfile software does everything your existing Florida Software products do, with added features that make your tax preparation, filing and payment process easier than ever before possible. In addition to a new user interface that is much like a web site, Trustfile software offers a few key enhancements:

• Direct data mapping from Microsoft Excel. Trustfile software users can quickly and easily create direct maps between existing Excel worksheets and our application. After a one-time wizard-based mapping process, the monthly exercise of preparing tax returns becomes as easy as clicking a button.

• Single interface for multi-state filers. Trustfile software eliminates the need to manage multiple applications for multiple states. Enter data once, tell the Trustfile application which states and/or localities you file to, and the requested returns are compiled. As Trustfile continues to expand our platform nationally beyond TN, FL and SC, we will add additional states and localities so the software can grow with your business.

• Enhanced error checking and notification. We’ve refined the internal auditing capability so that the Trustfile application compiles and checks your return, and then delivers a clear list of errors (items that must be fixed) and warnings (items that simply require a confirmation).

• Streamlined update process. After a one-time full software install from your new product CD, future updates will be faster and less cumbersome than before. An “auto-update” menu item within the program allows you to download updates quickly and easily.

And this is just the beginning. With the new Trustfile software platform in place, we will continue ongoing development to meet your needs and ensure Trustfile remains a long-term partner to your business.

You’ll receive your new Trustfile software in January 2004 as part of your regular renewal process. You need to do nothing at this time.
